There’s been plenty of activity around the community lately as the VCA Team continues working to keep Verandah looking its best!
Recent landscape work included trimming Sabal and Sylvester palms throughout community common areas. Sabal palm trimming was also completed within neighborhoods participating in the VCA Landscape Maintenance Program.
Our seasonal bed covering refresh is also complete, with mulch and pine straw applied throughout common areas and at homes in participating VCA Landscape Maintenance Program neighborhoods. These seasonal improvements help keep our landscaping looking neat, healthy, and well maintained.
Residents may also notice a little extra sparkle at the Main and Tropic gates. The string lighting in the oak trees has been replaced as part of VCA’s planned lighting maintenance, helping to keep our entrances bright and welcoming.
Several concrete repairs were completed throughout the community as well, primarily along community sidewalks. Damaged truncated-dome warning mats at a number of pedestrian crossing locations were also replaced.
A more substantial concrete improvement took place at the intersection of the FPL easement trail and Verandah Boulevard. New 8-inch reinforced concrete ramps were installed (on both sides of Verandah Blvd.) to better accommodate vehicles and equipment utilizing the easement for access. The stronger surface will help reduce rutting and protect the surrounding turf from repeated vehicle traffic.
From landscaping to infrastructure improvements, these projects are all part of VCA’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a beautiful and welcoming community for everyone to enjoy.
